Marcia Ann (Douillette) Fickett, 95, of Sudbury died Friday December 13, 2013 in Framingham. She was the beloved wife of 65 years of the late Marvis Milton Fickett. Born in Pembroke, New Hampshire on January 13, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Irwin P. and Beulah (Ruggles) Douillette. She was a graduate of Pembroke Academy in Pembroke. A Sudbury resident since 1956, she was a teacher for many years at the former St. Hubert School in Sudbury. She was an active member of the Sudbury Historical Commission and also with the Daughters of the American Revolution, Wayside Chapter. She enjoyed flying, and was one of the first licensed female pilots in the State of New Hampshire. During the late 1940's, she and her husband were the founders of Liberian Airlines in West Africa. She was the mother of Jonathan D. Fickett and his wife Patricia of Brookline, NH and Joel A. Fickett of Bethesda, MD, grandmother of Amy Fickett of Oceanside, CA and Benjamin Fickett of Denver, CO. and close friend and companion of Magdalen Mason of Sudbury. She was also the sister of the late Nathalie and Joyce Douillette.

Private interment will be held in the Spring.

Visitation will be held Sat. Dec. 28th from 11 am to 12 Noon in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center.
Service:
A service will be held in the Dee Funeral Home on Saturday December 28th at 12 Noon. Officiating will be Rev. Stephen Reed.
