Obituary

Marcia (Gerould) Bibring, 80, of Lincoln, died Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Miriam Boyd Parlin Residence in Wayland. She was the beloved wife of 59 years of George L. Bibring. Born in Cambridge on March 19, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Richard and Eleanor (Chapman) Gerould. She attended Shady Hill School, graduated from The Buckingham School, and Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School. For many years, prior to her retirement, Mrs. Bibring worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent of the Lincoln public schools and Weston public schools. A resident of Lincoln since 1969, she was an active volunteer at the Lincoln Public Library and the Olde Town Hall Exchange in Lincoln. She loved to travel, enjoyed reading, cooking, and summering in Provincetown since her childhood. In addition to her husband, George, she is survived by two daughters, Margot Hammer and her fiancé Frank Streeter of Lancaster and Lisa Bibring and her husband Dan Flynn of Mendon, four grandchildren, Kelly, Lindsay, Becky and Molly. Service: A gathering in her memory will be held at a future date.
