Mafalda A. Muffie (Pedinelli) Mobilia, 97, longtime Waltham resident, died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley in Littleton. She was the beloved wife of the late Felix D. Mobilia who died in 1985. Born in Concord on December 28, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Nazarino and Maria (Carmilloni) Pedinelli. She attended Concord and Waltham public schools and moved to Waltham at a young age. Mrs. Mobilia was the caretaker of her entire family. She enjoyed cooking and knitting and was a devoted wife, daughter-in-law, mother and grandmother. Survivors include 2 daughters, Elaine J. Gallant and her husband Michael of Westford and Christine A. Caterino and her husband Ronald of Westford, 6 grandchildren, Christine Brooks of Stow, Charlene Kmetz of Groton, Michael Gallant of Westford, Darren Caterino of Malvern, PA, Alicia Law of Westminster and Jason Caterino of Northborough, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 21st from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, CONCORD CENTER at 9 AM followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center at 10 AM. Burial will be in St. Bernards Cemetery, Concord. Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home will be held on Monday, December 20th from 3 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley, 191 Foster Street, Littleton, MA 01460.
