Louis J. Venti, 94, died Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Concord Health Care Center in Concord. He was the beloved husband for 66 years of Madeleine E. (Coan) Venti. Born in Concord on August 27, 1918 he was the son of the late Joseph and Teresa (DiCicco) Venti. He attended Concord public schools, graduated in 1939 from Stigmatine High School and in 1945 from Stigmatine College, both in Waltham. Mr. Venti worked as a Mail Clerk at ENSR for twenty-one years prior to his retirement in 2002. Previously, for 27 years, he worked at Macone Sporting Goods in Concord and Andy Boy Farms in Concord. A lifelong Concord resident, he was a Past Faithful Navigator and 4th Degree member of the David I. Walsh Knights of Columbus in Watertown and Past Grand Knight of Concord Council K of C, #287. In addition to his wife, Madeleine, he is survived by his daughter, Brenda A. Geldart and her husband Robert of Maynard, his son, Joseph T. Venti and his wife Karen of Concord, 3 grandchildren, Michael Shawn Geldart of Reading, Sam Joseph Venti and Madeline Rose Venti, both of Concord, a great grandson, Jack Geldart of Reading and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of late George Venti, Gena Oakman, Enrico Venti, Matilda Stefanelli and Helen Venti. Cemetery: Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Concord. Visitation: Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home will be held on Wednesday, December 5th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Service: Funeral will be held on Thursday, December 6th from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, CONCORD CENTER at 7:45 AM followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael's Church, 90 Concord Road, Bedford at 9 AM.
