Lorraine (Gosiewski) Goodwin, 66, of Concord, MA, succumbed after a valiant and courageous ten-year battle with cancer on Monday, August 20, 2018. She was born on February 29, 1952 and raised in Stamford, CT. Lorraine received an associate's degree from Becker College. For 15 years, Lorraine enjoyed employment at the Bedford Montessori School and was more recently assisting at the Concord Council on Aging. One of the biggest highlights of her life was enjoying her beloved granddaughter, Emma. As a proud grandmother, she cherished every moment with her. Lorraine leaves behind her loving daughter, Beth Goodwin and her husband Adolpho Franco and granddaughter Emma Franco, all of Wellington, FL, and her aunt, Lorraine Varian of Stamford, CT. Relatives and friends will gather for visiting hours on Sunday, August 26th from 3 to 5 pm in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. Her funeral will take place on Monday, August 27th at 9 am from the Dee Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 am in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 28th at 1 pm in Queen of Peace Cemetery, 124 Rock Rimmon Road, Stamford, CT.
