Lois Mary (LeBlanc) Sweet, 75, of Concord died Monday December 20, 2010 at her Concord home.
Born in North Attleborough on March 25, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Frank LeBlanc and Mary (MacMinn) LeBlanc. She attended North Attleborough schools and was the valedictorian of her North Attleborough High School graduating Class. She later graduated from Peter Bent Brigham Nursing School where she served as Vice-President of her Class.
Mrs. Sweet was a retired Director of Nursing at Brandeis University Health Services.
A Concord resident since 1964, she was an active parishioner at the former Our Lady Help of Christian Parish in West Concord and more recently Holy Family Parish in Concord.
A trustee of the St. Boniface Haiti Foundation, for the past 28 years she made many trips to aid the poor of Haiti and was influential in the founding of St. Boniface Hospital, which provides medical care as well as education and community development programs for the local residents.
Lois was the loving mother of Michael E. Sweet and his wife Monica of Anaheim, California, Kelley A. Stiness and her husband John of Lakewood Ranch, Florida and Timi Morales and her husband Arthur of Tustin, California and dear grandmother of Taylor, Lynnsey, Amber, Michael II, Nicole, Joshua, Aimee, Samuel, Jacob, Samantha and the late Zachary. She was also the sister of the late Robert LeBlanc.

Cemetery:
Interment will follow in the family burial plot in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord.
Visitation:
Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home will be on Wednesday December 22nd from 3 to 7 pm.
Service:
Funeral will be held Thursday December 23rd from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center at 9 am followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord at 10 am.
