It is with great sadness that we announce that Lois Oakman, 72, of Littleton, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026 after a courageous battle with lung cancer, surrounded by the love of her family.
Lois was a devoted wife, having shared 46 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Bobby. Together, they built a life grounded in love, commitment, and enduring partnership—an example that will continue to inspire all who knew them. She is survived by her children, Katherine McWilliams of Ashby, MA and Julie Pietro of Burlington, MA. As well as her son-in-laws Joshe McWilliams and Walter Pietro, and grandson Tuomas McWilliams. She is also survived by her brother, David Eddy of Gardner. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Margaret (Mullen) Eddy of Concord, MA.
She was a proud and loving mother and grandmother who found immense joy in her family. Her family was the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.
Lois had a deep affection for animals and a natural kindness that extended to all living things. Whether caring for pets or simply enjoying their presence, her compassion was evident in the gentle way she moved through the world.
Known for her wonderful sense of humor, Lois loved to laugh and brought joy to those around her. Her laughter was infectious, her spirit uplifting, and her presence made even ordinary moments feel special.
Lois loved to travel with friends and family. She loved the beach and her trips to Maine, Cape Cod, Vermont and Aruba.
She will be remembered for her love, her strength, and the happiness she shared so freely. Lois leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and joy that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
