Lillian Mogan (Carlson) Jenney, 102, of Concord, died Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Emerson Hospital in Concord. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles F. Mogan, Jr. and Casper "Cap" Jenney.
Born in Concord on June 22, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Eric W. and Jorgina (Hansen) Carlson. She attended Concord public schools and graduated from Concord High School in 1933.
For ten years, prior to her retirement, Mrs. Jenney was employed in the microelectronics department at General Radio in Concord. Previously she worked as an office clerk in the Town of Concord's Treasury Department and for the United States Department of the Treasury in Boston.
In 1939, she was married to Charles F. Mogan, Jr. in Our Lady Help of Christians Church in West Concord. Mr. Mogan died in 1972. She later married Casper "Cap" Jenney, who also predeceased her in 1989.
An avid golfer, she was a member of the Concord and Maynard Country Clubs. She also enjoyed gardening, bowling and was an enthusiastic sports fan. Since July of 2007, she was a resident of Newbury Court in Concord.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Mogan Pacheco and her husband George of Ipswich, two grandsons, Brett Pacheco and his wife Jennifer of New Jersey and Douglas Pacheco of Ipswich and two nieces. She was the sister of the late Goodwin Carlson, Norman Carlson and Esther Evans.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 3rd at 1 pm in the Duval Chapel, 80 Deaconess Road, Concord. Officiating will be the Rev. Lilian Warner.
