Leslie J. (Perley) Lee, 51, formerly of Concord and Ipswich, died Monday, August 27, 2012 died after a long battle with cancer at Kaplan House Hospice in Danvers. Born in Concord on October 22, 1960, she was the daughter of the late David W. Perley and Barbara J. (Bolduc) Perley. She attended Concord public schools and Concord-Carlisle High School, a member of the class of 1978. An animal lover, she enjoyed horseback riding, gardening and cooking. She was a resident of Ipswich from 1990 until 2007. Survivors include two daughters, Pamela M. (Lee) Thompson and her husband Richard, both of Ipswich and Kendra L. Lee and her partner, Esmeralda Soufan, both of Brooklyn, New York, 4 grandchildren, Brigette, Zakary, James and Keely Thompson, all of Ipswich, her sister, Melissa Perley of Fitchburg, and her brother, Jefferson Perley of Boxborough. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 8th at 1 PM at the Masonic Temple, 70 Topsfield Road, Ipswich. Private burial will be in the family burial plot in Woodlawn Cemetery, Acton.
