Obituary

Leonard R. "Butch" Cullinane, 74, of Milford, N. H. , formerly of Concord, Mass. died Wed. Feb. 23, 2011 in Nashua, N.H. He was the beloved husband of the late Alice Cullinane. Born in Malden, Mass. on Oct. 28,1936 he was the son of the late Matthew J. and Margaret G. (Meade) Cullinane. He attended Concord, Mass., schools and was a graduate of Concord, Mass. High School. Mr. Cullinane was a retired employee of Raytheon. He was a member of the Concord, Mass. Lodge of Elks and Sons of American Legion in Wilton, N.H. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed boxing in his youth and was a participant in the Golden Gloves Boxing tournament. He also was an avid follower of Boston College football. Survivors include a daughter Laura-Jean Ayotte of Newport, Vermont, three sons, Peter R. Cullinane of Mont Vernon, N.H., Paul D. Cullinane of New Boston, NH and Michael Cullinane and his wife Susan of Rindge, N.H. , several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, three brothers, Matthew Cullinane, Daniel Cullinane and Donald Cullinane, and a sister Patricia Napolitano. He was also the brother of the late Barbara Ryan, Olive Lalli, Claire Eannuzzo, Margaret McDonnell and Edward Cullinane. Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord, Mass. will be held Monday February 28th from 10 am until 12 Noon followed by a funeral service in the Dee Funeral Home at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in the family burial plot in St. Bernard's Cemetery,Concord, Massachustts
