After his duty with the Coast Guard, he became a Vice President of Bank of New England and later Fleet Bank, where he was responsible for the design, construction and maintenance of bank facilities until his retirement in 1996. In his retirement he enjoyed spending time in Concord and at a lake home in Sanbornton, NH. Leo was also active in the Church, using his engineering and real estate skills to assist in the building and physical plant projects at Our Lady Help of Christians and Holy Family Parish Churches.
