Kenneth Kai Chi Tang, age 79, of Carlisle, died at home on Monday, March 6, 2023. He was the husband of the late Rebecca Sui Ching Tang, who died in 2019.

Born on November 26, 1943, he grew up in Hong Kong, and came to the United States when he was 18 to attend what is now known as UMass Lowell. Subsequently, he earned his degree in electrical engineering.

Ken had a long career in high tech software sales, and before fully retiring, he dedicated his time to assisting in the operation of his wife's flower shop.

He will be remembered for his interest in automobiles and computers, as well as his devotion to practicing Buddhism.

He leaves behind one son, Stephen Tang and his wife Mary of Wayland, two granddaughters, Emie and Lily, three sisters, Nicole Khailoc Dang of British Columbia, Canada, Kai Woo Dan of Hong Kong and Suzanne Chen of Honolulu, HI. Ken was the father of the late Jonathan Hokong Tang, who predeceased him in 2017.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service in celebration of Ken's life on Thursday, March 16th at 2 pm in the Farrar Chapel of the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center.
