Kathleen G. McGrath, 89, a lifelong Concord resident, died Tuesday, July 26th at Rivercrest Wellness & Rehab Facility in Concord. Born in Concord on September 18, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Catherine (Mara) McGrath. She attended Concord Public Schools, and graduated from Concord High School with the class of 1945. For several years, Ms. McGrath was employed in the Concord office of the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company, and retired as Supervisor. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Survivors include her nieces, Ann Stampfer of Belmont and Patricia McGrath of Cambridge, and several grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Bernard H., John B., Robert E. and Charles M. McGrath, and was the aunt of the late Sharon McGrath. A period of visitation will be begin on Friday, July 29th at 8:30 am in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center, followed by a funeral Mass at 9:30 am in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Concord.
