Kathleen (Panetta) "Catherine" Gentile, age 95, a lifelong resident of Lincoln, died at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln on Monday, May 13, 2019, with her three children by her side. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Gentile who died in 1998. Catherine was born in Lincoln on January 9, 1924 to her late parents, Pasquale and Mary (Aprille) Panetta. As the only daughter of six children, she grew up on and assisted with the family's farm in Lincoln. She will be forever remembered as a fabulous cook, who loved her family and dogs dearly. Those left to cherish Catherine's memory include three devoted children, Joseph Gentile and his wife Susan of Sandown, NH, Maryann Gentile of Maynard, and Judi Abrams and her late husband George Abrams of Apex, NC, her grandchildren, Amy Gentile Cantone and her husband Anthony, Joseph Gentile and his wife Victoria, Christopher Gentile and his wife Erin, George Abrams, and Melissa Holland her husband Zach, as well as six great grandchildren, one brother, Pasquale Panetta of Lunenburg, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Dominic, Frank, James, and Salvatore Panetta. Family and friends will gather for visiting hours on Thursday, May 16th from 4 to 7 pm in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. Her funeral will take place on Friday, May 17th at 9 am from the Dee Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 am in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center. Burial will follow at Lincoln Cemetery.
