Karen E. (Johansen) Delorey, 80, a lifelong Concord resident, died peacefully at Emerson Hospital on Friday, January 6, 2023, surrounded by family.

She was born in Concord on March 25 1942, as the daughter of the late Norman and Clara (Fenton) Johansen.

She was the beloved and devoted wife for 60 years of Joseph F. Delorey, the dedicated mother of Joseph Delorey and his wife Laura of Westminster, Norman Delorey and his wife Natalie of Shirley, Deborah Belanger and her husband Stephen of Ayer and Richard Delorey and his wife Mary of Concord. Karen was the proud grandmother of Joseph Delorey and his wife Mikayla of Wareham, Meaghan Picchiello and her husband Michael of Long Island, NY, Michael Belanger of Littleton, Chelsea Belanger of Ayer, Melissa Belanger of Lawrence, Norman Delorey of Brighton and Nicholas Delorey of Concord. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Donna Johansen Gillmor.

Services and burial at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Concord will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to honor Karen's memory may be made to Emerson Health Care Foundation , 133 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742.
