Obituary

Juliet Schuck Crowley of Dracut, MA, peacefully passed away at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln, MA on July 7, 2026 at the age of 76. She was born on September 4th, 1949, at St. Albans Naval Hospital in Long Island.

Juliet had a warm heart, a generous spirit, and a lasting impact on all who knew her. She found joy in teaching and art and cherished the time she spent with her loved ones. Juliet lived a life marked by love, kindness, and devotion to those she held dear. She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the many lives she touched through her friendship, compassion, and generosity.

She leaves behind family and friends who will cherish her memory and carry her legacy forward. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her love and spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Paul Crowley, her husband, survives her; as well as her older brother, Edwin Schuck, Jr. of Bradbury, CA; her younger brother, Peter Schuck, of Middlebury, CT; her brother-in-law Richard Crowley of Scottsdale, AZ; her sister-in-law Virginia Crowley of Danbury, CT.; her son, Zachary Crowley, of Burlington, MA; her wonderful grandchildren Rhys and Marin Crowley; and Juliet’s daughter, Emily Crowley, of Brattleboro, VT. Juliet is the daughter of Colonel Edwin Schuck, Sr. and Emma Schuck, both deceased. She is also predeceased by her loving sister, Heidi Elizabeth Schuck.

As an “army brat”, she attended 13 schools before graduating from Ridgewood High School, Ridgewood, NJ. She lived in Heidelberg, Hawaii, Fort Benning, and Arlington, VA. She received her BA from Wells College in Aurora, NY; her MA from Columbia University in NYC; and a master’s in education from Western Connecticut in Danbury, CT.

Her initial employment was as a high school art teacher in Mahwah, NJ, followed by a sales position for American Home Products. She was promoted to product manager for food groups such as Chef-Boy-Ar-Dee, then moved to Standard Brands to manage Planters Peanuts and other popular foods.

After leaving corporate America to raise a family, she returned to teaching in Newtown, CT, and finally at The Wooster Middle School in Danbury, CT, which she maintained until we moved to Westminster West, VT.

Juliet's memory will live in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. A soft, well-spoken woman, she taught her husband about true love, tenderness and empathy. She was thoughtful, caring and always practiced kindness to the needy. There are not enough words to provide proper respect for Juliet. She is missed and will be remembered by all she touched.

Private interment will be held at a later date in Valleau Cemetery, Ridgewood, New Jersey.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord, MA.
