Julia J. (Willemin) Chase, 80, of Lakeland, FL, died on June 15, 2022 at Lakeland Regional Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Christopher D. Chase.
Julia was born on October 25, 1941 to her late parents, Julian and Jane (Moran) Willemin. She grew up with her two siblings, Jeffrey and Josephine. After beginning her studies at Centerville High School in Ohio, her family relocated to Lincoln. She graduated with the class of 1960 from Rose Hawthorne Central Catholic School in Concord, and also attended Middlesex Community College in Bedford.
She raised her family in Concord, as a resident for over 25 years, before settling in Florida in 1989.
In addition to her husband, she leaves behind three sons, John DeFoe and his wife Jennifer of Harwich, Vincent DeFoe of Billerica, and Stephen DeFoe and his wife Jill of Acton, as well as eight grandchildren: Kayla, Anthony, Sophia, Julia, Deborah, Stephanie, Cassandra and Vincent, and one great grandson, Conor. She was the mother of the late Peter DeFoe, who predeceased her in 2016.
Family members will gather for a private burial service at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Concord.
