Judith Mead, age 73, of Boxborough, passed away on March 13, 2024.

She was born in Lebanon, NH on May 9, 1950. She spent her early childhood in the upper valley of New Hampshire and Vermont before moving to Concord, MA. She attended Boston State College, studying early education.

Judith worked tirelessly as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Newbury Court in Concord for nearly 50 years.

She was an accomplished photographer, crafter, traveler, and cook. She was passionate about caring for the very young and very old.

Those who knew Judith will fondly remember her as a generous caretaker and for her light-hearted, sharp-witted spirit. She was a keeper of stories and family lore.

She is survived by her father, Russell Cooper Mead, and step-mother, Kaye Cooper Mead along with many loving cousins. In Heaven, she joins her mother Florence, and her two beloved brothers, Roger and Michael, taken too soon.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a period of visitation at Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord, MA on Saturday, May 4th from 10 to 11 am, concluding with a time of remembrance.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Minuteman Senior Services .
