Judith Louise (Troupe) Caldwell, age 84, of Concord, formerly of Acton, died peacefully on July 18, 2021 at Rivercrest Wellness & Rehab Center in Concord, surrounded by her family. Judy was the beloved wife for 62 years of the late Robert Bruce Caldwell, Sr. who died in 2017. Born in Acton on April 30, 1937, Judy was the daughter of the late John and Marie (Bengtson) Troupe. Judy spent her early life in Acton, attending Acton schools. She spent her working years employed with the Maynard Mill, the Gail-Mark Shop and The Potting Shed in West Concord, and Bionostics in Acton. In her spare time, Judy enjoyed bowling with the West Concord Bowling League, playing Bingo with her many friends, and doing puzzles with her grandchildren. Judy and Bruce enjoyed camping and took many trips in their Winnebago. She loved following New England sports teams, especially the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. Judy is survived by three children, Barbara J. Phillips of La Quinta, CA; Ellen M. Doucette and husband Paul of Maynard; and Robert B. Caldwell Jr. and wife Denise of Haverhill, and her grandchildren, Jessica Phillips of Scottsdale, AZ; James Doucette of Roslindale; Emily Doucette of Maynard; and the late Christopher Phillips. She is also survived by three siblings, Russell Troupe of Pensacola, FL; Carl Troupe of Wareham, MA; and Eudora Flerra of Harvard, MA; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late John, James, Robert and Leonard Troupe, Dorothea Carew, Virginia Kennedy and Lillian Lazaro. Family and friends will gather for visiting hours on Sunday, July 25th from 1 to 3 pm in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center, followed by a graveside service at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Judy's memory to be made to Emerson Health Care Foundation , 133 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742. Arrangements are under the care of Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
