Josephine Kathleen (Rando) Shaw, 88, of Concord, formerly of Lincoln, died Saturday, May 14, 2016 at her Concord home. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert F. Shaw and the late James E. Park. Born in Waltham on September 26, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Jennie (Cappadona) Rando. She grew up in Lincoln, attended Lincoln and Concord public schools and graduated from Concord High School in 1945. During the 1950's, Mrs. Shaw worked at Raytheon Corporation in Bedford. From 1955 until 1974, she worked as a waitress at the Willow Pond Kitchen in Concord. A Concord resident since 1966, she enjoyed traveling, especially to Vermont and Florida where she loved the ocean. A talented artist, she painted many landscapes using oil paints. She also was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bingo. Survivors include 1 son, James L. Park and his wife Karen of Stow, 3 daughters, Joy E. Park of Acton, Dianne M. Keefe of Stow and Christine Giarrizzo and her husband James of Chelsea, 2 sisters, Lucy Cotoia and Jeanne Stankard, both of Lincoln, 7 grandchildren, Matthew and Lisa Park, Stacy Bornhorst, Keith Swanson, Heather McCart, McKenzie Keefe and Caitlin R. Katisch, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Felix Rando, Adeline MacKenzie and Rose Marie McCart. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, May 16th from 4 to 8 pm in the Dee Funeral Home. 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. Funeral from the Dee Funeral Home will be held on Tuesday, May 17th at 8:45 am followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 142 Lincoln Road, Lincoln at 10 am. Burial at a later date will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Fund, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
