Joseph Ramon "Joe" Caro passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 87.

Born in Rincon, Puerto Rico on February 27, 1938, Joe had been living close to family in Massachusetts for the last 6 years. Although Joe's health recently necessitated a move to an assisted living community, he considered the Timothy Wheeler House in Concord his home.

As a young child, Joe journeyed with his family from Puerto Rico to New York City. He made New York his home and for most of his life worked as a doorman on 5th Avenue in Manhattan. Upon retirement, he moved first to Edison, NJ and then to Concord, MA to be near family.

Joe was mindful of those less fortunate and frequently donated to charity. Although quiet and introverted by nature, he was not afraid to speak his mind if he felt there was an injustice. Joe will be remembered as a strong, loyal and proud man who was appreciative of each kindness shown to him.

Joe was never married. He is survived by his sister Rose, her family, and his brother Pete's family.

Family and friends gathered for a private viewing and service in the Dee Funeral Home on August 11, 2025.
