John J. "Jack" Connors, Jr., 75, of Clinton, formerly of Kingfield, ME, died Saturday, April 30th at the Shrewsbury Nursing & Rehab Center. He was the husband of the late Joanne (Copley) Connors.
Born in Boston on February 10, 1941 he was the son of the late John J. Connors, Sr. and Doris (Maxima) Connors. He attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from the Boston Trade School.
After completing his schooling, Mr. Connors was employed as a Mechanic for the Leaseway Corporation in Roxbury.
In the 1980's and 1990's, he was the Vice President for the Boston Truck Center, Inc.
He was a resident of Kingfield, ME from 1991 to 2003, and was the proud owner and operator of the Nostalgia Tavern in Kingfield.
Survivors include his son, John T. Connors and his wife Kathleen of Clinton, his daughter, Lynn Martin and her husband George of Superior, AZ, his granddaughters, Jennifer and Kaitlin Brown, both of Superior, AZ, and his former wife, Margaret Jean Connors of Chandler, AZ. He was also the brother of the late Thomas Connors of Quincy and the late Virginia Raynor of Waltham.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 7th at 11 am in the Farrar Chapel of the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center.
Interment will be private at a later date.
Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home are Friday, May 6th from 4 to 7 pm.
