Joanne Leslie Parke, age 72, of Billerica, formerly of Acton, died on March 7, 2026 at CareOne in Lexington, following a brief illness.

Born on November 19, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Johanna (Aho) Parke. Joanne grew up in Acton with her parents and three siblings. She graduated from Acton-Boxborough High School.

Throughout Joanne's career in the travel industry, she helped countless clients discover the beauty of the world. Her work also allowed her to enjoy the same benefits, as she travelled extensively on many memorable trips with family.

Joanne will be remembered as a kind and generous person, with a good heart. She cared deeply for her family, and was a devoted caregiver to her mother in the final years of her life. She also enjoyed cheering on the Red Sox as a lifelong baseball fan.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Huey and her husband Alfred, along with several nieces and nephews. Joanne was predeceased by her sister, Jean Clegg, and her brother, Robert Parke.
