IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joan Marie
Beauchamp
December 12, 1932 – March 23, 2025
Joan Marie "Nana Beau" Beauchamp (née Hureau), 92, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, in Carlisle, Massachusetts.
Born on December 12, 1932, in Everett, Massachusetts, Joan lived a life filled with love, warmth, and unwavering kindness. She was known for her ever-present smile and the deep affection she held for her family. Her summers at Pleasant Pond were among her happiest times, where she created cherished memories with those she loved.
Joan was the heart of her family—a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who embraced each moment with joy and generosity. She had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel valued and heard. A gifted storyteller and an even better listener, she shared wisdom without judgment and offered advice that came from a place of deep understanding and care.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard Leonard Beauchamp; her siblings Evelyn Butler, Mary Foley, and Edwin Hureau; and her son Edward Roy Beauchamp. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever treasure her memory: her sister Ruth Coughlin; her children John Beauchamp and his wife Li, Joan Beauchamp and her husband Bob Fidler, Bill Beauchamp and his wife Julie, Denise Darcy and her husband Joseph, and daughter-in-law Kathy Meronek-Beauchamp; as well as 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren who were blessed by her love.
Joan's legacy is one of kindness, love, and an unshakable devotion to family. Her presence brought light into the lives of all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.
