Janice Duffy, 70, of Concord, MA, passed away Saturday night, March 25, 2017, surrounded by her family and friends. Janice is survived by her son Brian and his girlfriend Kylie Fulton of South Boston, step-daughter Jane Leonard and her husband Brian of Marlborough, sister-in-law Kathy Musiak of Spencer, niece Liz Sarantopoulos, her husband Jim, and their daughter Emma of Framingham, and dear friend Jean Bertoli, and her sons Paul and Jason. She was predeceased by her brother Jerry Musiak.
Janice was born in Greenfield, MA, the second child of Frank and Veronica Musiak of Greenfield.
Janice and Brian were more than just mother and son, but best friends. He was the pride and joy of her life and they had a special bond. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with him and Kylie.
Janice blessed many with her warm friendship and sense of humor. She and Jean were a dynamic duo, going on adventures, and always laughing together.
Following her career as a teacher, Janice became a care-giver for clients who became close friends. Janice was never without her side-kick Jack Jack and the two of them had many wonderful friends made at the South Acton dog park.
Janice will be remembered for her love of family, friends, and dogs, infectious giggle, and heart of gold.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 30th from 4 to 8 pm in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday March 31st in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center.
