IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Janice
Campbell
March 20, 1945 – September 2, 2022
Janice Irene (Coverdale) Campbell, of Sudbury, died on September 2, 2022 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, following a brief illness. She was 77.
Janice was born in Muncie, Indiana on March 20, 1945, as the daughter of the late Irving and Irene (Kerr) Coverdale. She spent her youth growing up in Glendora, CA, where she attended Glendora High School. Subsequently, she earned her associate's degree in business from Citrus College in Glendora. She was also a member and Honored Queen of the Job's Daughters International. After marrying Dennis Campbell, Sr., the couple moved to Claremont, CA where they raised a family before she relocated to Massachusetts.
For some years, Janice was a loan processor for a bank, but she took the most pride in her job as a stay at home mother to her four children, and later to her daughter Pam's special needs son, Dylan.
Janice's life was centered around her children, grandchildren, animals and the special needs community. She was an incredible mother not only to her own children, but was regarded as a second mother to so many of their friends. She was most happy when all of her children and grandchildren were together with her. She will be forever remembered as a kind, warm, giving and beautiful woman.
She was the cherished mother of the late Pamela Meyers, Dennis Campbell and his wife Teresia, Kimberly Scott and her late husband Robert, and James Campbell and his wife Heather. She was the proud grandmother to Adrian Meyers, Dylan Meyers, Dennis Campbell III, Dacey Campbell, Tripp Campbell, Finley Campbell, Sloane Campbell and Tucker James Campbell.
Relatives and friends will celebrate her life during a memorial service on Friday, October 14th at 11 am at First Parish, 327 Concord Road, Sudbury, MA. A reception will immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the name of Janice or her grandson Dylan Meyers to Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children, c/o Board of Trustees, 3 Randolph Street, Canton, MA 02021.
Arrangements are under the care of Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
