MAYNARD - Janet Marie (Fannon) Doyle, 78, formerly of Maynard and Concord died Sunday December 6, 2015 in Framingham. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles H. Doyle who died in 1993. Born in Natick on April 23, 1937 she was the daughter of the late John Frederick Fannon and Mary (Powers) Fannon. She attended public and parochial schools in Natick and was a1955 graduate of Natick High School. Mrs. Doyle was employed in various administrative positions in the area including M.C. I. Concord where she met her future husband Charles. The couple were married in 1964. A Maynard resident from 1964 until 2006, she was a long time communicant and C.C.D. teacher at St. Bridget's Parish. She had a long time interest in politics, beginning with the John F. Kennedy presidential campaign in 1960. She continued her passion for politics as she raised her family by advocating for special needs on behalf of her daughter Eileen and others in her community. In recent years she enjoyed traveling with friends, family and church groups to Ireland, Italy and the Caribbean Islands. Survivors include four daughters, Margaret M. Doyle and her partner Cynthia Page of Upton, Elizabeth A. Saul and her husband Kennedy and their son Ethan T. Saul of Marlborough, Eileen M. Doyle of Acton, and Mary L. Tivnan and her husband Brendon of Clinton. She was the sister of the late Mary, John, Luke and Robert Fannon, Jean Fannon Wenners and Helen Fannon Brady and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday December 9th at 10 am in St. Bridget's Church, One Percival Street, Maynard. Interment will follow in the family burial plot in St. Bridget's Cemetery, Maynard. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday December 8th from 4 to 7 pm at the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center.
