Jane Ellen Currier, 71, of Shirley, formerly of Concord, died on November 18, 2023 after a nearly three-year battle with gastric cancer.
Jane was born on October 3, 1952 and grew up in Concord as the daughter of the late Rudolph and Winifred Currier.
She was a graduate of Concord-Carlisle Regional High School and received her bachelor's degree from Emmanuel College in Boston. While attending both schools, she studied the Russian language for eight years.
She later received a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School and spent 25 years as General Counsel for Meditech, a multinational medical software company based in Canton. Jane established a scholarship at Suffolk Law School to help current and future students from Massachusetts make their dreams of becoming lawyers come true. She was a member of the Suffolk Law School Dean's Cabinet, a group of benefactors who meet with the Dean to provide support and advice.
After her retirement from Meditech, Jane traveled extensively, taking trips to Egypt, Greece, South America and the American West among other places.
She was passionate in caring for her cats and enjoyed Scrabble and working out. She was a longtime member of Curves and the YMCA in Leominster.
Jane is survived by her sister, Ann-Mary Currier, of Cranston, RI; two brothers, William Currier, of Salem, NH, and Edward Currier, and his wife, Susan, of Colonial Heights, VA and Thornton, NH; and two nieces, Lt. Col. Linda Currier, USAF, and her husband, Orlando Mendez, of Fairfax, VA; and Jennifer Currier and her husband, Erwan Guillo-Lohan, of London, England; and a grandneice, Amelie Guillo-Lohan, of London.
Family and friends will gather for a period of visitation on Saturday, December 23rd from 8:30 to 9:45 am in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. Jane's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am in St. Bernard's Church at Holy Family Parish, 12 Monument Square, Concord Center. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Concord.

Arrangements are entrusted to Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
