James Dexter Sitler passed away on August 20, 2024.

Born on February 28, 1944, he grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from North Penn High School in Lansdale, PA in 1962.

He worked as a Laboratory Technician for many years. He moved to New Jersey as a research assistant, and then worked for several years as an Ocean City Postman.

After settling in Massachusetts, he managed a conference group near Harvard University. He bought a home in Hudson, MA and lived there for many years. At the age of 65, he retired and traveled many times throughout Europe.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Elizabeth (James) Sitler, his father, Dexter Glen Sitler, and his brother, David Glen Sitler. He is survived by his brother, Bruce A. Sitler and his wife Rebecca L. (Shaner) Sitler, along with nephews and nieces David, Brandon, Jaimie, Krista and Craig.

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
