James M. Kelly, 59, of Lunenburg, formerly of Concord, died at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia on May 24, 2024, following complications related to a heart procedure.

Jim was born in Boston on August 8, 1964, as the son of the late James and Florence (Bishop) Kelly. He grew up in Concord and graduated from Concord-Carlisle High School in 1982. He then attended Wheeling University in West Virginia.

He worked in the automobile industry for nearly twenty years, which included employment at Ernie Boch and Herb Chambers dealerships. Subsequently, for the past 15 years, Jim was an Executive for Windward Trading in Brockton.

Jim was a former member of the Concord Minute Men. An avid sports enthusiast, he faithfully supported the Boston teams and enjoyed attending games. He loved golfing as frequently as possible, and could often be found immersed in a good book. He played darts for many years, and was often involved with leagues and championships. He was knowledgeable and fascinated by history.

Those who knew and loved Jim will forever cherish his great sense of humor and natural ability to make others laugh. He was selfless, and a true people person. Jim's loyalty, dedication and unwavering work ethic was unmatched.

He is survived by a beloved sister, Florence Doiron and her husband Michael of Fitchburg, and his loving companion, Robin Yarnell and her children Samantha and Cody of Lunenburg. He also leaves his cousin, who felt more like a brother, John O'Neil and his wife Cindy of Duxbury and their daughters, Morgan (his godchild) and Mackenzie, his uncle, John Bishop of West Palm Beach, FL, as well as countless cousins and friends.

Family and friends will gather for visiting hours in Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center on Monday, June 10th from 2 to 4 pm, immediately followed by a graveside service at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord.
