James Joseph "Joe" Corrigan, 83, of Harwich, MA and Ft. Myers, FL, formerly of Acton and Lincoln, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2013 at his Harwich home. He was the beloved husband of Virginia A. "Jinny" (Olsen) Corrigan, the father of Steven P. Corrigan and his wife Rosemarie of Kenwood, CA, Lynn A. Viscariello and her husband Thomas of Maynard, Scott M. Corrigan and Sallie Anderson of Brewster, and Lisa M. Bannon of Stow. Also survived by 5 grandsons(Dan, Joe, Brian, Patrick, & Sean), 3 granddaughters(Kelly, Kendra, & Kimmy), 2 great grandsons(Camryn & Rowan) and 1 great granddaughter(Myah). Joe truly loved his family, and time spent with friends .… wintering in Ft. Myers…and summers on Cape Cod tending to his garden, which was envied by many. Golf with his buddies, as well as endless support for his Boston Red Sox and the NE Patriots kept Joe very engaged in his "retirement years." Many people in the Acton-Boxborough area will recall Joe as the fun-loving, successful owner of Ye Olde Liquor Cabinet in the '70s and '80s.
