James E. Felix, 72, of Lincoln, formerly of Cambridge, died Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at his Lincoln home.
Born on May 9, 1938, he was the devoted son of the late James E. and Elizabeth A. (Zucco) Felix. He graduated in 1960 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics and completed additional graduate studies.
For many years, Mr. Felix worked as a software engineer, consulting for Fortune 500 companies.
A longtime Lincoln resident, he had a passion for literature and classical music. He loved the outdoors especially hiking and bird watching. Jim was a railroad enthusiast who enjoyed spending time traveling by train in the United States and Europe. He was an active member of the Rotary Club of Cambridge.
Survivors include many aunts and cousins.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 19th at 11 AM in St. Josephs Church, 142 Lincoln Road, Lincoln.
Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln
