James Denaro, 79, of Concord, died Monday, October 21, 2013 at Emerson Hospital in Concord. He was the beloved husband for 33 years of Lois A. (Dupee) Denaro . Born in Concord on August 9, 1934 he was the son of the late Frank and Maria Denaro. He attended Concord public schools and graduated from Concord High School in 1953. After many years of working in the high technology industry as a Precision Machinist, Mr. Denaro started his own business, JDM Products in Concord. Previously he worked for Electric Vehicles of America, Panemetrics of Waltham and MIT in Burlington where he was an inventor, holding three patents. A longtime Concord resident, he was an avid model plane enthusiast and member of the 495th Radio Control Modelers where he served as a judge at their competitions. He was also a talented artist working with acrylics. In addition to his wife, Lois, he is survived by 2 daughters, Sherry Law and her husband Brett of Statesville, North Carolina and Barbara Denaro and her fiancé Tim Hanson of Pittsfield, Maine, his sister-in-law, Seraphina Denaro of Chelmsford, his grandchildren, Shannon, Jessica, Tori, Justin, Holly and Alina and 14 great grandchildren. He was also the father of the late James Denaro Jr., brother of the late Rose, Frank, Dominic, Connie, Mary, Frances, Josephine, John, Anthony and Catherine. Cemetery: Burial will follow the service in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord. Service: Funeral will be held on Friday, October 25th at 1 pm in the Farrar Chapel of the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center.
