J. Barry Steinmann, 69, of Lunenburg, originally from Concord, died peacefully on January 4, 2022. His beloved wife, Irene Masson Steinmann, was by his side as he passed.
Barry was born in Concord on January 1, 1953, as the son of the late Joseph and Rita (Bent) Steinmann. He graduated from the former Xavier High School.
For nearly thirty years, Barry worked for his family's longtime business, Minuteman Printing in Concord. In 1997, he began employment at Crosby's Marketplace in Concord. He remained steadfast in his dedication as a Manager who was respected and beloved by coworkers and customers. Barry's easygoing and friendly demeanor endeared him to many, and he will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife, he leaves behind one step-daughter, Sandra Buker, one step-granddaughter, Melina Buker, his sister-in-law, Maureen Steinmann of Chelmsford, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Robert and Joseph Steinmann, and step-father to the late Cynthia Buker.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a funeral procession forming at the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center, on Saturday, January 15th at 1:45 pm, followed by a graveside service at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
