Irene Sylvia (Lehtinen) Dentino, 79, of Tenants Harbor, Maine, formerly of Concord, MA, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Oakdale Nursing Home in West Boylston, MA. She was the beloved wife of Alfred C. Dentino, Jr. Born in Rockland, Maine on June 9, 1933, she was the daughter of Winifred (Mikkonen) Lehtinen and William Lehtinen. She attended schools in Maine and Massachusetts and graduated from Chandler Secretary School in Boston. Irene worked at Fort Devens until she was married and raised a family. She then went to work as a secretary in a one-girl office at The Ad Studio in Stow. She was a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary in Maynard, MA. She was also a member of The Finnish American Society in St. George, ME. In addition to her husband of 59 years, Alfred, she is survived by her children: Alfred W. Dentino and his wife Christine of Lancaster, MA; Stephen A. Dentino and his wife Anne of Sedgwick, ME; Robert E. Dentino of Mason, NH; David A. Dentino and his wife Melissa of Shirley, MA; her sister Gladys Carter of Holts Summit, MO; and five grandchildren. Cemetery: Interment will follow the service in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Concord. Visitation: Visiting hours will be held at the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center, will be held on Sunday May 5th from 6 to 8 PM. Service: A funeral service will be held on Monday May 6th at 10 AM in the Dee Funeral Home.
