Ileana Rachman (née Wolfgang), a fifty-one-year resident of Concord, Massachusetts, passed away at Traditions of Wayland on August 21, 2018. She was 83. Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on December 17, 1934, She was the daughter of William and Gertrude Wolfgang. She earned a B.A. in Journalism from Penn State University. She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Martin Rachman; her brother, Frederick Wolfgang of Scranton; her daughters, Sabina Rasenow of Oakland, CA, Julie Pangburn of Malvern, PA, and Melissa Van Doren of Portland, OR; her sons, William Rachman of Shirley, MA, Bruce Rachman of Acton, MA, and Stephen Rachman of East Lansing, MI, and grandchildren Eric Rachman, Greg Rachman, Jenna Rachman, Paige Van Doren, Tess Van Doren, Garrett Van Doren, Sam Rachman, Sasha Rasenow, Thomas Rachman, Spencer Hankin, Graham Hankin, Noah Hankin and Griffin Hankin. A funeral service will be held at Congregation Beth Elohim, 133 Prospect St, Acton, MA 01720 at 10:30 am on Friday, August 24, 2018, followed by interment at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org/donate). Arrangements are under the care of Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
