Helen L. (Ward) Sorrenti, 82, of Concord, died on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Rivercrest Wellness & Rehabilitation Center in Concord. She was the wife of the late Joseph V. Sorrenti who died in 2004. Mrs. Sorrenti was born at Emerson Hospital in Concord on July 21, 1935 as the daughter of the late Francis and Helen (Campbell) Ward. She grew up in nearby Wayland, and graduated from St. Charles Borromeo Parochial School in Waltham in 1953. She married her beloved husband in 1958, and moved to Concord shortly thereafter. Her greatest accomplishment during her life was raising her family as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by four sons, Steven J. Sorrenti of Boston, Salvatore W. Sorrenti of Palm Springs, CA, Joseph V. Sorrenti, Jr. and his wife Gulnara of Concord, and Francis W. Sorrenti of Concord, as well as three grandchildren. A private funeral service was held on Saturday, March 17th in the Concord Chapel of the Dee Funeral Home. Burial followed at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
