Helen Louise (Craig) Fereshetian, of Carlisle, formerly of Concord, passed on September 12th 2016. She was born in Gulfport, MS on May 13, 1923. Helen met her husband Richard when he was stationed in Gulfport, and had a long marriage of 72 years. He passed in 2014, and left a void in her life. She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Fereshetian of Nantucket, MA; Pam and David Ziehler of Carlisle, MA; Sandy and Tom Weston of Madison, ME, Claire and Brian Hart of Billerica, MA, her sisters Dorothy Cox and Betty Hendry of Gulfport, MS, twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a huge extended family. Helen was a loving mother and friend. She worked in the Donut shops for years. She taught Sunday school at Trinitarian Congregational Church, and helped with other charities. She was in the USO, an Arthur Murray dance instructor, and an avid square dancer. She loved traveling, decorating, fashion, reading, poetry, painting and animals. Most of all she loved the Southern way and her family. Graveside services will be at Green Cemetery, Bedford Road, Carlisle, MA on Saturday, September 17th at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Animal Rescue Front which helps animals in MS, PO Box 312, Charlemont, MA 01339. Arrangements are under the care of the Dee Funeral Home of Concord.
