IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gregory
Hennessy
July 12, 1953 – September 15, 2022
It is with greatest sympathy we announce the death of Gregory Hennessy who passed away on September 15th, 2022 at the age of 69. Gregory was born at Saint Elizabeth's hospital in Boston, Massachusetts on July 12th, 1953 to the late Robert Hennessy and the late Veronica Hennessy. Gregory grew up in Concord, Massachusetts surrounded by his beloved six siblings, Robert, Veronica, Elizabeth, Mark, Peter and Andrea.
After receiving his degree from The Stockbridge School of Agriculture at University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1976, Gregory pursued a career in the golf industry where he became a revered member of the community and genuinely loved his trade for more than 45 years.
With his quick wit, sense of humor, and fierce loyalty, Gregory gained many friends throughout his life who knew they could always count on him to be there for help, any day or night. A gifted storyteller, he had a knack for delivering the perfect tale at the perfect time, always gaining a laugh.
Gregory loved his family unconditionally and was married to his sweetheart, Nancy Jane Hennessy (née Haselton), for 41 years with whom they raised three children in Pepperell, Massachusetts. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy; his son, Michael Hennessy, his wife, Faith-Anne Hennessy and their three daughters, Audrey, Evelyn and Hazel; his son, Patrick Hennessy, his wife, Lyndsey Maher and their son Patrick Hennessy II; and his daughter, Jacqueline Rosenzweig and her husband, Matthew Rosenzweig. He also leaves behind his six siblings and their spouses, and many nieces and nephews.
Gregory was a special man who will be remembered fondly by many. And while his passing leaves a hole in our hearts which will never be filled, we find comfort in knowing he was welcomed into Heaven by his parents and will watch over us all as our guardian angel.
