Gladys S. (Simberg) Sillars, 88, of Concord, Massachusetts, formerly of Nashua, New Hampshire died Friday, December 26, 2014 at Emerson Hospital in Concord. She was the beloved wife for fifty-seven years of Robert V. Sillars. Born in Nashua, New Hampshire on September 24, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Sarah (Chirug) Simberg. She attended Nashua public schools and graduated from Nashua High School in 1944. A resident of Concord for over forty years, she was an active member of the Council on Aging. At the COA, Mrs. Sillars participated in many activities, was the bingo caller and enjoyed traveling with the seniors. In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by her son, Steven B. Sillars and his wife Donna, of Cape Coral, Florida, and her granddaughter, Jennifer N. Sillars of Cape Coral, Florida. She was also the sister of the late Annette Sherman of Wellesley. Services will be held at a later date.
