Obituary

George W. Thibeault, of Concord, MA, died on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston from post-surgical complications. He was 83.

He was born on September 21, 1941, as the son and only child of the late George and Josephine (Maraggia) Thibeault. He attended Northeastern University for his undergrad. Subsequently, George earned an MBA and a Juris Doctor from Boston College.

He first practiced law at Gaston, Snow, Motley and Holt and was a founding partner at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP, a Boston-based law firm. At its peak, the firm was the second largest law office in the city, and was involved with the Innocence Project. George devoted over 50 years in service to his clients as an Attorney who specialized in corporate law. He continued to practice until just weeks before his passing.

George cherished his summer home in Osterville, MA for many years, where he could be found spending quality time with his beloved family.

He leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Antoinette (Miller) Thibeault, two daughters, Robin Thibeault and her husband Stephen Maloney of Stow and Holly Miller and her husband Christopher of Pembroke, along with three grandchildren, Haley, Tyler and Carly Miller.

Family members gathered for a private funeral service in the Farrar Chapel of Dee Funeral Home in Concord Center. Burial followed at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Concord.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in George's honor may be made to the American Heart Association .
