George Jeffrey "Jeff" Carlson, of Boxborough, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2021 in his home surrounded by family. Born on February 7, 1952, Jeff was raised in Madison, NJ as the son of George "Jukie" and Virginia "Ginny" Carlson, along with his sisters Barbara and Lizza. He had a large, loving extended family and a group of what would become lifelong friends. He married young and, while that marriage didn't last, it produced his daughter Corrina "Cory". In 1983, he married the love of his life, Lorraine Gilroy, and together they raised their children, Jillian and Matthew. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1979 and began his career in telecommunications. This career would move him all over the country. His business acumen brought him many achievements and much success. He was a man that enjoyed good food, drink, and music. He was natural musician and an epic storyteller. His sense of humor and his deep belly laughs will not soon be forgotten. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine, three children, sister Barbara, and grandchildren Christopher, Elizabeth, Ian, Gracie, and Zak. He is preceded in passing by his mother, father, and sister Lizza. As per Jeff's wishes, the family will be having a small, private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to The Cancer Research Institute . Arrangements are under the care of Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
