Obituary

Frederic Marshall 'Teddy' Ambrose, 83, a long time Shirley resident, died Wednesday May 15, 2013 at Concord Health Care Center in Concord. Born in Boston on October 15, 1929 he was the son of the late Frederic C. and Emma M. (Wood) Ambrose. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the American Legion in Shirley. A well known resident, he was a long time communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Shirley, where he was an active member of the Holy Name Society. Teddy participated in many Town and Church activities and parades throughout the years. He was a former Grand Marshal of the Memorial Day Parade in Shirley. He was a regular fixture at Piccolino's Restaurant in Shirley. Survivors include his brother David W. Ambrose and his wife Marcia of Truro; his brother-in-law Bruce Levenson; many nieces. nephews, grand nieces and nephews; and many friends in the Shirley area. He was also the brother of the late Arline Levenson. Service: All are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday May 31st at 11 am in Shirley Village Cemetery, Harvard Road, Shirley.
