Florence Ceil (Libman) Koppel, age 100, formerly of Concord, MA, Sarasota, FL, and Summit, NJ, died on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham. She was the wife of the late William C. Koppel. Born in Wausau, Wisconsin on January 16, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Meyer and Catherine (Cohen) Libman. She will be lovingly remembered as a wonderful, kind, and generous woman. Mrs. Koppel was an expert bridge player who remained deeply devoted to her family, and was beloved by the staff at St. Patrick's Manor. She had resided in New Jersey and Florida, prior to moving in with her daughter in Concord for fourteen years. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Leslie Gardner and her husband John of Concord, MA, one son, James Koppel and his wife Karen of Lafayette, CO, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, her brother, Sherman Libman of Boynton Beach, FL, and many devoted nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Juyne Izenstark. Services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
