Eulalee V. Chin, age 93, of Concord, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2020. Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was known to most simply as "Grammy."
Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, she immigrated to the United States and began her new life in Michigan, and later moved to the Boston area to be close to family. She made many friends in Huron Village, Cambridge, during the many years that she managed the Moys' Highlander Center laundromat on Concord Ave. She composted, foraged greens, grew herbs and concocted her own teas long before it was trendy.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Evadne and Sam Moy; grandchildren Christopher Moy and Prow Sarnsethsiri, and Laura and Christian Ely; and great-grandchildren Justin, Nicholas, Veronica, Nathaniel and Gwenyth. Her grands and great-grands were her pride and joy, and she delighted in every one of their accomplishments, large and small.
Funeral services in the Dee Funeral Home, followed by burial at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord was private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (www.mda.org).
Arrangements are under the care of Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord.
