Obituary

Ethel Rosetta (Trinkle) Werblo, age 82, of Ralston, OK, passed away at her daughter's home in Bolton, MA on May 12, 2022. She was the daughter of Lester Trinkle and Louise Glass and sister to John Trinkle, all who have passed. A progressive woman ahead of her time, Ethel showed an early aptitude for learning and education along with a drive to succeed. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from Central State University in Edmond, OK and a Master's Degree in Education from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. She taught computer science at Rose State College for 35 years very successfully and was a respected professional in her field. Always industrious, hardworking, and busy with many projects, Ethel's hobbies included entertaining, design, her gift shop, painting folk art, needlepoint, dancing, and travel. She especially enjoyed traveling with her grandchildren and was very engaged with them since their birth. Ethel was devoted to her family. After retiring from teaching in 2001, she joined her father, Lester, to run the family farming business in Ralston, OK until he passed in 2013. She continued running the farm until her passing and worked diligently to ensure the family legacy. Surviving family members are Pamela Kidwell, daughter, Mario Pineda, son in-law from Bolton MA, Donald Austin Gilbreth and Amanda Louise Ruth Kidwell, grandson and granddaughter from Phoenix AZ and Oklahoma City, OK, respectively. A celebration and memorial service will be held at First Osage Baptist Church in Fairfax, OK on September 10, 2022. Invitations will follow. Arrangements are under the care of Dee Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Concord, MA.
