Born on April 30, 1952 in Hamilton, MA, Eric G. Walters was the son of Muriel Walters of Acton, MA and the late Eric G. Walters, Sr. He was a resident of Concord, MA for forty years and died unexpectedly on August 6, 2022. An avid cyclist, Eric was biking on the Cape Cod Rail Trail when he suffered a cardiac arrest. As a graduate of Colgate University and Bentley University, Eric was a CPA who enjoyed the world of finance. He was the CEO of ONEighty C Technologies Corporation. Eric also worked at PolyMedica Corporation as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for thirteen years. Throughout his lifetime, Eric served on the Board of Directors for a number of organizations. Most recently, he served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Medical Development Group in Boston. He also served on the Board of Directors – Finance Committee for the Massachusetts Special Olympics for six years. Eric was a family man and a car enthusiast who loved boating, his Bichons, and exploring Cape Cod. He is survived by his loving wife of forty-seven years, Maryellen, his son Doug Walters and his wife Kelly of Concord, MA, his daughter Christen Walters and her husband Kevin Lentini of Arlington, MA, his brother, Tom Walters of Deering, NH, his sister, Nancy Walters of Livingston, MT, and many nieces and nephews. A private service and burial for family members will be held at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Concord, MA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Eric's memory may be made to Special Olympics Massachusetts , 512 Forest Street, Marlborough, MA 01752.
