EMILY B. SCHETKY, 89,GARDNER EXTRAORDINAIRE, LOVER OF NATURE Emily (Barber) Schetky died September 14, 2015 after a long illness. She was 89. Born in Morristown, NJ on March 10, 1926, she was the daughter of the late William and Emily (Ranshaw) Barber. She spent most of her life in Massachusetts, first as a child in Waban, and later, most of her adult life in Concord and Acton. Many summers were gladly spent in Annisquam. Over her years in Acton, she continually extended and improved her flower beds, much to the delight of passersby. She is survived by her two sons, Mark Schetky of Townsend and Chris Lincoln of New York City and Fire Island, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
