On May 9, 2023, after a long battle with illness; Ellen J. Hutt, of Concord, Mass, has passed away peacefully at Mass General Hospital surrounded by family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jeffrey M. Hutt and her beloved children, Samantha P. Hutt, Daniel I. Hutt and his wife Caitlin Hutt as well as her beautiful grandchildren, Everly and Calvin. She leaves behind her loving mother, Arlene Granet and her brother, David Granet as well as so many dear relatives.

Ellen was a beacon in the field of Disability Law after graduating from New England School of Law for her second career. Never one to stand on ceremony, her strength and prominent moral compass has been a light in the dark for many families in need. An accomplished knitter, waterski instructor, skier, cook and gardener; she has taught her beloved family many ways to live a full life, and to never stop learning. She will be missed and always loved.

Family and friends are invited to gather for her funeral service at Kerem Shalom, 659 Elm Street, Concord on Thursday, May 11th at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord. Following the interment, Shiva will be observed until 9 pm at the Hutt family home, 212 Caterina Heights, Concord, and again on Monday, May 15th from 6 to 8 pm, with a service at 7 pm.
