Elizabeth Dorothea (Adams) Griesinger, age 88, of Concord, formerly of Vero Beach, FL passed away peacefully on October 6, 2022, following a period of declining health. Elizabeth, or "Betty" as she was affectionately known, was born on November 9, 1933, daughter of the late Charles and Dorothea (Klick) Adams.

Betty grew up in upstate NY on Conesus Lake, completing her education at Geneseo College. After college, Betty worked in human resources and modeling for Kodak in Rochester, NY. It was at Kodak where she met her husband of 57 years, Theodore "Ted" Griesinger. They married and moved to Manhattan Beach in CA. For the next nineteen years, Ted's work took the family overseas living in Iran, England, and Wales before returning to Needham, MA and eventually retiring to Vero Beach, FL.

It was in England where Betty developed her love of gardening, and later was an active volunteer at the Garden Club of Indian River and Shining Light Garden Foundation where she became passionate about growing Orchids and Bromeliads.

Betty was predeceased by her husband Ted and her younger brother Edward. She is survived by daughter Sharon Rossi-Ashton (Stephen) of Somerset UK, and granddaughter Rebecca, Cynthia Stocker (Wendall) of Bennington NH, and son Paul Griesinger (Leann) of Concord, MA.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her memory be made to the Alzheimer Association of Massachusetts, 309 Waverley Oaks Road Waltham, MA 02452 (www.alz.org).
